In La Bendicion Lodge you will be able to fish the biggest Rainbow Tarariras (Hoplias Lacerdae) of Uruguay.
The Rio Negro is known by fishermen as a very important place where it is possible to catch a specimen of excellent size.

Rainbow Tararira 
​

Known for its agressive behavior, it is a natural depredator and an ambush hunter. It is a real challenge for fishermen to catch one, as it is an unreliable fish and it is difficult to predict its movements. Once the fish is hooked , it speeds up in short and incredible powerful movements.
